Question?: What Is Autism Video

Steven asks…

What do you think about vaccinating and the link to autism?

I’ve read so many conflicting articles, but had come to the conclusion that it’s better to vaccinate than to not. My 4 month old is ready for his second set, and I am having doubts after watching a heartbreaking video on you-tube.
(I certainly wont base my decision on that video) I just want to know what others think. Have a look, if you like:

admin answers:

There are studys that can prove or disprove everything, just do what you think is right. People can try to influence you all day both ways, but its a desicion you need to make. I have had so many people tell me i was a monster for imunizing my daughter, but i cant help but think how horrible i would feel if she caught one of those diseases, and died. I would rather take my chances with the autism. Im not going to watch the video, but if it really makes you feel bad, look up some of the diseases that you are protecting your baby from, and you will feel better about it. Your a good mom for doing your homework about this. Dont let anyonemake you think your making the wrong choice either way.

Joseph asks…

Things you can give a Clinical Psychologist for Autism?

In regards to give a little more information to a clinical psychologist in regards to observation. Of course the main importance is them coming to observe the child for Autism, but can sending them videos of what you’ve recorded also work on top of the observation? Cause I want him to have every aspect of my son as possible. Good idea? Bad idea?

admin answers:

It could not hurt sending them a video of what happens at home. A clinician is with a child a short period of time during a day, week, or month.

Sometimes seeing is believing. You may also want to write a journal.

-What time of the day you see a concern?
-How long does it last for?
-Is the child tired, hungry, wet, upset, and other things that might be following a behavioral change.

Ken asks…

Do you think that vaccinations has a big roll in so many children having autism?

I have 2 small children, and lately I’ve been hearing so much about autism and that one factor can be vaccinations. I am terrified of having them get vaccinated now, is it okay if they don’t? will they still be allowed to go to school?

admin answers:

Hello – This is Julie Duffield – valentinewiggins@juno.com.

I have two children who regressed into autism following vaccination. They were so severe, institutionalization was recommened.

When we treated the damage done by vaccines, they improved. One child is considered recovered, the other is greatly improved.

Our medical story is located at

Also, you do not have to vaccinate for your children to go to school. We do not live in a communist country, and we have rights. Each state has exemptions for vaccines. Medical, philosophical, and religious exemptions. Some states do not have a philosophical exemption.

I have claimed all 3 at various times. Our doctor has signed for medical exemptions, since my son has measles virus in his brain fluid, and my daughter got HepB from her Hep B shot…
But when we moved to a new state, our new doctors wouldn’t touch the medical exemption for fear of losing their license. I have claimed religious exemption, because I’m Christian, and I believe that prayer and meditation can bring me inspiration for major decisions, including medical.

No one can predict which kids will react, and how. Some children die. The majority don’t visibly react, but have problems down the road. How do you know a child was ‘born that way’, when you give them a vaccine during their first minutes of life?

Feel free to write me for more informaiton.
Take care,
Julie Duffield

Susan asks…

What is the probability that my child will have autism?

I don’t know if this will affect my children at all or not but my little brother has a form of autism called Asburgers Syndrome. He is the only one in my family who has it and my fiance doesn’t have anyone in his family with autism that we know of. I just want to know what the chances are that our children will have autism (specifically asburgers) so that my fiance and I can be prepared for it ahead-of-time. Thanks for your help=)

The new statistic in America is 1 in 38. Go to: www.marytocco.com and look at her web site regarding this issue. She has tons of information and recent up to date data that will help you understand this problem.

Dr. Einenstein in Chicago, Ill, has treated over 30,000 plus Amish children that do not get vaccinated, have minimal EMF exposure, and eat good quality foods. NONE of these 30,000 children have autism. NONE. You can choose to ignore the facts and believe people that have the most to gain by promoting vaccines, etc. Or accept the facts of what is right in front of us like the Dr. Einenstein’s data and tons of evidence showing similar results in cultures that do not vaccinate children. It’s your choice.

Dr. Andrew Moulden just won a case in vaccine court that showed “blood sludging” from the toxins in vaccines caused Ischemia in a child’s brain resulting in brain damage. Specifically, the aluminum and the small amount of mercury caused the toxins to coagulate, block small capillaries in the brain and create a mini-stroke that resulted in the brain damage. It was his discovery and development of some great software that now shows this is not an isolated incident and is happening everywhere. These mini-strokes are cumulative and when the child has enough of them, they get autism, brain damage, etc. If you are a doctor and not looking for this, you will not see it because the signs are subtle, but very obvious when you are looking for the problem. Less that 10% of the doctors in the U.S. Report to VAERS (vaccine adverse event reaction system) damage being done by vaccines, even though they are required to by law. It is simply NOT in their best interest to do so. It is clear to anyone educated, NOT indoctrinated, what is going on here. It is not the first time the public has been duped by marketing geniuses. Cultures that don’t vaccinate, don’t have AUTISM. What is so hard to understand and why isn’t there one study that has pursued this to see why? The simple answer is the people promoting the “bargain basement technology” as the chief scientist of the Merck Pharmaceutical stated, are not about health, but about profit.

Here is a video of Dr. Hilleman that you can see speaking in his own words about the “bargain basement technology” of vaccines and how AIDS got started.

In 1986, Congress passed the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act (PL-99-660) that among other things required health care providers to report vaccine reactions to a centralized reporting system. As a result the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) to which parents, physicians and vaccine manufacturers could report adverse events was created. NVIC has assisted many parents in reporting adverse events following vaccination as many doctors refuse to make a report. Last year the U.S. Government (our public tax dollars, not the drug companies that caused the problem, but us) paid out over $1.5 billion dollars in claims for vaccine related deaths and illnesses caused by the vaccines!

Good luck to you

Question?: What Is Autism Video

Daniel asks…

Why do people keep posting mean comments on my cover videos on YouTube even though I sing good?

I don’t insult them or anything and I sing really good, I already told them I have Autism but still they make fun of me. Why do people keep posting mean comments on my song covers?

admin answers:

Well maybe its because you aren’t actually as good at singing as you think your are. But if you really are good, people hate just to hate. Its like trolling. You ever troll people before? Well its extremely funny. Another reason can be you song selection. Lets say your a guy and you are singing more feminine songs. That could be a reason why. But heres how you deal with the hate. Do absolutely nothing about it. Don’t respond to them, don’t reply to them, don’t acknowledge them. If you keep saying stuff back, then you are just ringing the dinner bell and the haters will want more. Trust me i know haters. Just pretend they aren’t there

What’s the difference between autism and mental retardation?

I’m curious. I have adhd and anxiety, and (I suspect sort of strongly) aspergers

I was watching vids on lower function autism, and some of the people were making disgruntled noises a lot, throwing fits/tantrums, sucking thumb, etc.

admin answers:

Mental retardation’s criteria is a low Intelligence Quotient (IQ).

Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnostic criteria includes social deficits, communication deficits, and odd behavior (repetitive actions, self-stimulating – like you saw on the video.).

Question?: Autism Signs In 15 Month Old

Ruth asks…

Is there an online support for parents of Asperger teens?

I have a 17 year old son who does not want to know anything about Aspergers. The doctors in UK have diagnosed him and he hates me for giving him a label. I would like to chat online with other parents who have the same problems. There is so much I need to ask on how to handle him! I tried some sites in the UK that have chats online – sign up and find I’m the only one in the room.

There are plenty of forums out there. I happen to run one, but will not say which one. The only source I would advise against is Autism Speaks. There has been a lot of cotraversies surrounding them.

Autism Speaks was founded by Bob and Suzanne Wright; Bob is the chairman and CEO of NBC Universal and the chairman and executive officer of General Electric. He and his wife, have had a public falling out with their daughter who is raising their autistic grandson as evidenced by their daughter’s appearance on Oprah in April 2007 regarding this public falling out.

Allison Tepper Singer, Vice President of Communications for Autism Speaks, discussesd how she felt when she took her child to a regular school which was going to accommodate her autistic child in a special education classroom with 5 other children, one teacher and two educational assistants. She said. “[quote] I remember that was a scary moment for me when I realized I had sat in the car for about 15 minutes and actually contemplated putting Jody in the car and driving off the George Washington Bridge. That would be preferable to having to put her in one of these schools [end quote].”

It was only because of her other child, Allison Tepper Singer said, that she didn’t go through with the murder-suicide.

Autism Ontario pulled an Autism Speaks very video from their website months ago after discussions with their board members and members of the autism community precisely for its negativity towards autism and autistics.

I have heard from people “on the inside” that Autism Speaks’ goal is to fund genetic tests for autism to encourage people to abort those who have autistic genes in utero to eliminate autism from the world. Simply having autistic genes does NOT mean a person will present with autism.

It should be noted that the PR firm who designs Autism Speaks’ ad campaigns (BBDO) is the same one that has created the defamatory Ransom notes campaign in New York in which the ads claim that people are “Held Hostage” to Autism and Asperger Syndrome.

The ads make it seem as though ALL autistics and AS people are helpless idiots and that by paying for services, they can be cured.

Autism has been proven to be genetic in origin and cannot be cured.

I run forums for over 700 Aspies, and one forum for parents of autistics. All are firmly agreed that Autism Speaks is a poor entity to be “advocating” for autistics.

My own letters to Autism Speaks were replied to with contempt and derision, so I know that they are open to no other opinions but their own.

Question?: What Is Autism Video

David asks…

How do you teach students what autism is?

It’s for an A.P. Psychology project. I have to teach the class for 22 minutes and the topic I chose is autism. I was thinking about lecturing, but I can only lecture for so long and don’t think I could for 22 whole minutes. Any ideas?

admin answers:

Do Not show Rain Man. The man, Kim Peek, that character was based on did not have autism. Every autistic person is different and interacts with the world in many different ways. If you have met one autistic child you have met one autistic child. If you want to highlight a real autistic person my suggestion is Temple Grandin. She just made the May 2010 Time magazine top 100 List in Heroes.

Here is an excellent video of Temple presenting at TED

HBO also did a movie about Temple
http://www.hbo.com/movies/temple-grandin/index.html#/movies/temple-grandin/video/trailer.html/eNrjcmbOUM-PSXHMS8ypLMlMDkhMT-VLzE1lzmcu1CzLTEnNh8k45+eVpFaUsDFyMjKySSeWluQX5CRW2pYUlaayMQIAUmYXOA==

She is amazing. Autism is a social and communication disorder and the more people who understand that the better.
